FRONT ROYAL - Christine Prillaman Hawley, age 88, of Front Royal, Va., died Wednesday in Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. Mrs. Hawley was born November 15, 1903, in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Elkania and Mary Jane Mullins Prillaman. She was the wife of the late William Cleveland Hawley, Sr. Surviving are her one son, William C. Hawley, Jr. of Front Royal; one daughter, Molly Hawley Buchanan of Glade Spring; a loyal friend, Lucy D. Catlett. Mrs. Hawley was formerly employed by Weaver's Inc. and American Viscose Corp, and was a member of the Roanoke Business College. A graveside service will be held at the Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Delacy Andrews officiating. Arrangements by Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home, Front Royal.
