HERMAN MOORE, HOLLAND TO APPEAR AT CARD SHOW

NFL player Herman Moore and former major-league pitcher Al Holland are scheduled to appear Saturday at a benefit baseball card show at the Quality Inn in Salem at Exit 141 of Interstate 81.

Admission proceeds will be donated to help homeless families through Roanoke Area Ministries. Admission is $1.50.

Moore, the former Virginia All-America receiver who just completed his rookie season with the Detroit Lions, will sign autographs from 1-3 p.m. Holland, the 1983 National League Fireman of the Year with the Philadelphia Phillies, will appear at the same time. - Staff report
