Because of a reporting error, the Giles County Planning Commission and county zoning were referred to Thursday in a story about rezoning in Pearisburg. Town Manager Ken Vittum said Thursday that Town Council and the town Planning Commission plan a public hearing April 14 on a proposal to rezone four lots at Wenonah and Montgomery streets for mobile homes. He said mobile homes already occupy the property, but have been in non-compliance since town rezoning several years ago included the lots in residential zoning. Vittum said the town zoning has nothing to do with county zoning.
