BLUES BAND FEATURED ON SYNDICATED RADIO

Local blues band Houserockin' John and the Hyper Brothers will be featured on the syndicated radio show "Blues Deluxe" during the week of March 22. The show will be broadcast on 36 radio stations across the country.

Musicians in the band are John Lloyd, guitar and vocals; Bill Hyper, bass and vocals; and Jamey Hyper, percussion. The trio is popular at nightclubs in the area.

"The Things I Used to Do," a song originally done by Guitar Slim, was selected for the syndicated show. It will be on the air March 22 at 8 p.m. on WZBO-FM in Edenton, N.C., and at noon on WRCK-FM in Fayetteville, N.C.
