Actor Warren Beatty privately married "Bugsy" co-star Annette Bening less than two months after their daughter Kathlyn's birth, ending an era for one of Hollywood's most prolific Lotharios.

"I can confirm they were married not too long ago, but no further details will be forthcoming," publicist Nancy Seltzer said Thursday. "They sound very happy."

It's the first marriage for Beatty, the Oscar-nominated actor-director-writer-producer who turns 55 on March 30, the day of the Academy Awards presentations. Bening is 33.

During his years as Hollywood's premier bachelor, Beatty was linked with Natalie Wood, Diane Keaton, Julie Christie, Madonna, Joan Collins, Isabelle Adjani, Leslie Caron, Michelle Phillips, Susan Strasberg, Carly Simon, Barbra Streisand, Faye Dunaway, Jean Seberg, Joni Mitchell and Britt Ekland.

The German magazine Stern this week bares Madonna and peeks at her psyche starting with a cover shot from a photo session on her erotic dreams.

Stern said the photographs were taken secretly when the singer-actress posed at a beach villa in Miami for a picture book on her sexual fantasies.

Inside the news magazine offers a picture of model Naomi Campbell, also nude, leaning against the performer's side while rap singer Vanilla Ice holds Madonna's breasts.
