ATKINS, MOZELLE D.

Mrs. Mozelle D. Atkins, age 89, widow of Frank J. Atkins, died Friday, March 13, 1992 in Smyth County Community Hospital. Mrs. Atkins was a member of The First United Methodist Church. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Anne and Atwood J. Huff, II, of Roanoke; one son and daughter-in-law, Frank James and Nancy Atkins of Roswell, Georgia; one sister, Katherine D. James of Rural Retreat; one brother, James Richard Dutton of Bluefield, Virginia; four grandchildren, Atwood J. Huff, III, of Cottage Hills, Ill.; Anne Huff Mays of Granbury, Texas; Deborah Lynne Atkins of Macon, Ga.; Katherine Atkins Sego of Savannah, Ga.; four great-grandchildren, Daniel Benjamin Mays and Laura Anne Mays, both of Granbury, Texas; Randall William Sego and Christina Marie Sego, both of Savannah, Ga.; a very special friend, Mildred Harris of Marion. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 15, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. J. N. Howard and Rev. Paul E. Corbett officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The First United Methodist Church of Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Saturday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
