Harry Addison Speese, Sr., age 74, of Roanoke went to be with our Lord Thursday night. Surviving are his wife, Bertha Armstrong Speese; two sons, Harry A. Speese, Jr. and Vernon Vanmeter Speese, both of Roanoke; three daughters, Katherine Speese Rakes, Roanoke; Judith Speese Nelson, Buchanan; Margaret Speese Hambrick, Roanoke; a sister, Helen V. Speese, Roanoke; six grandchildren, Amanda and Bethany Speese; Judith and Sarah Speese, Emily Rakes and Christina Hambrick. Funeral services will be conducted at Northminster Presbyterian Church 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 1992 with Rev. David A. Kirk officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
