Melissa Morton and Brian "BJ" Ulrich are engaged and planning to be married August, 1992. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Morton of Big Stone Gap. She graduated from Powell Valley High School and currently attending Radiologic Technology School at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Ulrich of Troutville. He graduated from Lord Botetourt High School and is a Deputy Sheriff with Botetourt County Sheriff's Department.
