MEDLEY-GADDY

Kimberly Lee Gaddy and Matthew Medley were united in marriage on March 13, 1992, at Vinton Wesleyan Church. Dr. Rev. Flavy B. Brown officiated the ceremony. The reception was held at Vinton War Memorial.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry J. Hale of Vinton. She is the granddaughter of Ruby D. Smith of Roanoke and Barton A. Milton of Galax.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Medley of Vinton. He is the grandson of Clarence Hill of Roanoke.

Tammy Light of Vinton, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tammy Hale, sister of the bride; Chelsey Gamble and Denise Pollard, friends of the bride. Flowergirl was Le Anna Medley.

The best man was Bounthavy R. Boutvong, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Chad M. Gaddy, brother of the bride; Thomas A. Milton, uncle of the bride; Daniel L. Holland, uncle of the bride; and Eric McGeorge, friend of the bride and groom, all of Vinton.

The candlelighters were Chad M. Gaddy and Eric McGeorge. Guestbook was attended by Sandra Correll of Vinton. Organist was Sarah West. Soloist were Kristy and Rachel Barlow of Roanoke. The wedding was directed by Mrs. Eve Anderson.

The bride wore a white satin gown embellished with schiffli lace with scoop neckline and delicate poet sleeves; peplum adorned with rosettes at back waist. The basque waistline flowed into a full skirt edged with Italian lace; extended chapel length train; accented by pearls and sequins. The head piece was braided hand style interwoven with pearls featuring a pouff; scattered with pearls and a waist length veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations with babys breath accented with lace streamers.

The bride's mother wore a mauve, purple and green satin tapestry jacket trimmed with Brussels lace; tea length mauve crepe skirt slightly gathered at waist.

The bride graduated from William Byrd High School and attends Dominion Business School. She is employed by Community Hospital.

The groom graduated from William Byrd High School and is employed by Community Hospital.

After a wedding trip the couple will make their home in Vinton.
