The matron ofhonor was Kimberly Beales. The bridesmaids were Janice Petrone, sister of the groom, and Kate Grendler. The best man was Alex Nelson. The ushers wereStephen Foster, Jr. and Collen Foster, brothers of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Linda Foster of Roanoke. She is a junior at Virginia Tech majoring inpsychology. The bridegroom, son of Ann Downes of Roanoke and the latePhilip Petrone, is a junior at Roanoke College, majoring in business.

The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after the wedding trip to New Orleans, Louisiana.
