TURPIN-SMITH

Rhonda Diane Smith and David Ray Turpin were married December 21, 1991 in Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Dugspur, Va. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. Allen Thompson. The reception was held at the church. The maid of honor was Jennifer Keith. The bridesmaids were Sarah Straley, Tammy Akers, Sheri Renno, Beth McDilda, Kerry Dodson, and Kim Dingus. Flowergirl was Brigett Sutphin. The best man was Ray Turpin, father of the groom. The ushers were Brian Turpin, Scott Simmons, Michael Sowers, and Timmy Turpin. The guestbook was attended by Michelle Hollandsworth. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis W. Smith of Willis, Va. She is a graduate of Emory and Henry College, and is employed by Carroll County Schools. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Turpin of Floyd, Va., is a graduate of Emory and Henry College. He is employed by Floyd County Schools. The newlyweds are making their home in Indian Valley, Va.
