Samuel Edward Donahue, age 78, of Salem, died Thursday in a Salem hospital. He is survived by his wife, Muriel A. Donahue; three brothers, Warren Donahue, Lewis Donahue, both of Roanoke Co.; Jasper Donahue, Moneta; four sisters, Ollie Simmons, Salem; Marie Simmons, Naomi Minnix, Earlene Eubank, all of Roanoke Co. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Howell Franklin officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
