GALAX - Mrs. Madeline Edwards Bryan, age 74, passed away Friday at her home. She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Fortson, Washington, D.C.; Iris Langford, Ft. Washington, Md.; Anita Bryan, Galax; four sons, Rudolph A. Bryan, Jr., Galax; Robert V. Bryan, Alexandria; Walter F. Bryan, Mitchellville, Md.; Eric E. Bryan, Galax; one sister, Elizabeth Tolliver, Galax; one brother, Carroll P. Edwards, Winston-Salem, N.C.; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral service will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Oldtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax.
