WYTHEVILLE - Etta Umberger Eversole, age 70 of Route 4, died Thursday in the Wythe County Community Hospital. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Castle Road. She is survived by her husband, Brown D. Eversole, Wytheville; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Joyce) Beasley, Max Meadows; four sisters, Mrs. Lester (Ruth) Spraker, Mrs. Donald (Paige) Fielder, Mrs. Robert (Claudia) Cregger, Mrs. Lewis (Celia) Shelton, all of Wytheville; two brothers, Lawrence E. Umberger, Floyd K. Umberger, both of Wytheville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Abe Handy with the interment to follow in the Beasley Cemetery, Austinville, Va. Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends at the First Assembly of God Church located on Castle Road. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
