OBIT-MILGRIM, P.

GALAX - Platt Roosevelt Milgrim, age 60 of 102 Mountain View Ave., passed away Friday in Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alyce W. Milgrim; three daughters, Diane Powell, Roanoke; Joan Simpson, Salem; Andrea Hager, Roanoke; his mother, Mrs. Pearl M. Milgrim, Galax; three brothers, Ronnie K. Milgrim, Galax; Douglas Milgrim, Roanoke; Delano Milgrim, Elk Creek; three grandchildren, Justin Powell, Matthew Simpson and Adam Hager. Several aunts, two nieces and one nephew also survive. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in the Coal Creek Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax.
