FERRUM WINS DOUBLEHEADER IN BASEBALL

Kevin Alger pitched a complete game in Ferrum's 3-0 shutout of Ohio Wesleyan and two homers led the Panthers to a 7-3 victory in the second game of a baseball doubleheader Saturday.

Ferrum (11-0), ranked second in the nation in Division III, got two-run home runs from Andy Calohan and former Cave Spring player Jason Shafer in the fourth inning.
