TURKEY FEDERATION SPONSORS BANQUET

The Roanoke Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation has announced plans for its annual banquet to be held at 6 p.m. March 26 at the LancerLot in Vinton. Tickets are $15 for the meal; $35 for the meal plus membership in the federation.

The banquet is designed to raise funds for turkey habitat projects, but this time it also will be used to launch a formal local federation chapter, said Jeff Fletcher, the banquet chairman.

Tickets will be available at the door, or at On Target, Trebark and Capital Guns and Ammo.
