The Little Town Players' production of "Bus Stop," a comedy by William Inge, opens Friday at the Elks Home Theatre in Bedford.
Inge's play is set in a small town west of Kansas City, where bus passengers have taken refuge in a road-side diner during a blizzard.
Romance involves three couples: a nightclub singer and a Montana cowboy; the diner's proprietress and the bus driver; and a waitress and a former college professor.
The cast includes Wendy Myers of Roanoke as the nightclub singer.
Directed by Nancy Johnson, performances are Friday, Saturday, March 27 and 28 at 8 p.m. and March 29 at 2 p.m.
Beginning Monday , tickets may be reserved by calling the box office at 586-5881. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.
