PRICE, JACK P. BLACKSBURG - Jack Percy Price, age 57, also of New Castle, died Saturday, March 14, 1992 at the Narrows Livestock Market. Jack had a great love for the country life, for farming and the livestock business, and was very active in both. He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Lewis Price. Surviving are his mother, Anna Mae Price, Blacksburg; his wife, Janice Taylor Price; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Lou and Rick Gilbert, Newport; Carol Sue and Mike Slusser, Blacksburg; three grandchildren, Seth Aaron Gilbert, Amber Danae' Gilbert, and Taylor Pendleton Gilbert; three stepgrandchildren, Michael David Slusser II, Amy Lenore Slusser, Kevin Paul Slusser; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen and Barbara Price, Blacksburg; Frank E. and Carolyn Price, Staunton; his mother-in-law, Thelma H. Taylor, New Castle; one uncle, Lee R. Price, Blacksburg. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 17, 11:00 a.m. at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. David Breeden will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ross Cemetery in Craig County. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Simmonsville Volunteer Fire Department, Rt. 1, Newport, Va. 24128 or Craig County Rescue Squad, New Castle, Va. 24127. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
