CAVE SPRING DUO PLACE IN NATIONAL MEET

Cave Spring's Tiki and Ronde Barber showed off their athletic prowess in the National Scholastic Indoor Track and Field Championships in the Carrier Dome on Sunday.

Ronde finished second in the 55-meters high hurdles with a time of 7.34 seconds. Tiki was third in the long jump with a leap of 23-feet 4-inches.

The meet attracted athletes from 47 states and four countries. - Staff report
