1 TEEN-AGER STABS ANOTHER IN ARGUMENT

Police say an argument over a girl led a 16-year-old boy to stab another youth Saturday night in Southeast Roanoke.

The victim, also 16, was admitted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment for multiple stab wounds, police said.

The stabbing occurred about 6:30 p.m. at a house in the 900 block of Highland Avenue Southeast, police said.

The suspect was held Saturday at the Coyner Springs Detention Center, police said.

The youths' names were not released because they are juveniles.
