AGAIN, CLOWNS IN RICHMOND SHAFT TAXPAYER

WELL, THE tax-and-spend clowns, dancing to the tune of our honorless "ringmaster" governor, are shafting the taxpayers again. This bunch of so-called senators and representatives couldn't do better in a real circus.

They vote to build a "smart" road (which is not wanted or needed), with money they don't have, and think people are so stupid as to vote for an increase in the gas tax. This bunch of elected spendthrifts even voted to do away with the grace period on credit cards, again shafting the consumers.

I for one will not vote for this bond issue, and I hope to influence many more votes against such an idiotic proposal that could only have been drawn up and approved by liberal, half-baked morons. I also plan to cut up my credit cards and not buy anything I can't pay for in cash. The great guru clowns in Richmond should try pay-as-you-go for a change. PAUL BELL ROANOKE
