Trophies will be awarded to first-place winners in seven categories, both male and female. Bronze medals will go to second- and third-place winners.
Registration fee is a minimum of $1, but additional donations will be accepted for the J.C. Waters Scholarship Fund. Waters was a junior at Floyd County High School when he was killed in 1989 by a drunken driver. Scholarships in his name are awarded each year to Floyd County High School seniors.
A sports auction will be held in conjunction with the basketball competition. It begins at 1 p.m. and includes items from National Football League teams, National Basketball Association teams, major league baseball teams, NASCAR drivers and other sports stars.
