TV SPECIAL LOOKS AT SCHOOL FUNDING

WSLS-Channel 10 will present its next "Great Expectations" special, "Educational Funding: What's at Stake?," tonight at 8.

The one-hour program will take a look at teacher salaries, educational disparity in Virginia and the loss of education funds in general.

A studio audience of parents and teachers will participate in the discussion with the following panelists: Virginia Secretary of Education James Dyke, Sen. Brandon Bell, Virginia Education Association State President Robley Jones, Franklin County Public School Superintendent Dr. Leonard Gereau and Parent-Teacher Association representative Trish McMahon.

News anchors John Carlin and Kalley King will be the hosts.
