OBIT - ALTICE, N.

Nettie Jane Altice, age 87 of Salem, died Tuesday in a Salem hospital. She was retired from Eaton Lock Plant. She is survived by one son, Charlie L. Altice; two daughters, Mrs. Helen A. Garrett, Mrs. Betty A. Moore, all of Salem; one brother, Woodrow W. LaPrad, Eden, N.C.; eight sisters, Sally Stultz, Annie Weadon, Ella Blackwell, Susie Hall, all of Eden, N.C.; Daily Altice, Mary Lou Lawrence, Mable Conner, Carolyn Burnop, all of Salem; sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 1992 at 12:00 noon at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Jim Herron and Rev. William Murdock officiating. Interment will be in Butts Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel after 12:00 noon Wednesday.
