OBIT - MCCLANAHAN, A.

Annie Mae Johnson McClanahan, 88 of Route 1, Pulaski, died Monday night in the Pulaski Health Care Center. She was born in Pulaski, Virginia, on May 6, 1903 and was the daughter of the late John Johnson and Mariah Hodge Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hilton McClanahan, the former custodian of Northwood Elementary School in Pulaski. Surviving are many friends. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 8:00 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with Elder Walter Kienast officiating. Visiting will be held Thursday at Stevens Funeral Home from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Pinehurst Cemetery Friday at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Northwood School Playground Fund, C/O Northwood School, Pulaski, Va. 24301. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
