PAPER SAYS FERGIE, PRINCE, PLAN SEPARATION

Prince Andrew and his wife, the former Sarah Ferguson, are preparing to announce their separation after about 5 1/2 years of marriage, the Daily Mail reported.

Andrew, 32, and the Duchess of York, dubbed "Fergie" by the press, were married at London's Westminster Abbey on July 23, 1986. Andrew is the second of Queen Elizabeth II's three sons.

Buckingham Palace refused to comment on the report. - Associated Press
