ECOLOGIST TO SPEAK ON THREAT TO WILDLIFE

David Blockstein, director of the National Institute for the Environment, will speak March 26 at 7:30 p.m. in McGuffey Auditorium at Radford University.

Blockstein will discuss the direct and indirect effects humans have on the number of living species in the world, which is sharply decreasing as a result of habitat destruction. Blockstein has a doctorate in ecology. The lecture is free.
