Myrtle Reece Simkins, age 81, of Roanoke County, formerly of Woodbury, N.J., died Tuesday in a Roanoke hospital. Mrs. Simkins was the widow of George F. Simkins and is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth W. and Esther Redheffer, Sr., Roanoke; a brother and sister-in-law, Francis B. and Alice Ellis, Woodbury, N.J.; grandsons, Kenneth W. Redheffer, Jr. and wife, Mary, Lindenwold, N.J.; Kevin T. Redheffer and Bruce D. Redheffer, both of Roanoke; granddaughters, Barbara A. Pizutto, Woodbury, N.J.; Joyce E. Walters, Roanoke; great-grandchildren, Jerry Walters, Carlton Thomas, II, Debra Redheffer and Joan Redheffer. A memorial service will be conducted at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1887 Electric Rd., Friday, March 20, 1992, at 7:00 p.m., with the Rev. John Hartwig officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Building Fund. Funeral services in New Jersey will be held at Davis Funeral Home, 171 Delaware St., Woodbury, N.J., at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 1992, with the Rev. William Klettke and the Rev. John Hartwig officiating. Interment to follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, N.J. Local arrangements by Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
