Kyle V. McGhee, age 75, formerly of Ferrum, died Sunday, March 15, 1992, in South Pasadena, Fla. He was a member of the VFW in Madeira Beach, Fla. and a retired member of the Police Association of Washington, D.C. He moved to Fla. in 1970 from Washington, D.C. He was born in Ferrum on April 12, 1916. He was the son of the late Walter E. and Mary C. McGhee and brother of the late J. Lowell McGhee. He is survived by his wife, Mary M. McGhee of South Pasadena, Fla.; three brothers, Curtis E. McGhee of Bedford; Hampton and wife, Adele McGhee of Alexandria; Frank and wife, Velma McGhee of Fieldale; five sisters, Lena and husband, David Ruff of Largo, Fla.; Lucille and husband, Robert Stowell of Fredericksburg; Hester and husband, Charles DePue of Alexandria; Edith and husband, Gail Sigmon of Ferrum; Mary Maude and husband, Bennie Rakes of Collinsville. Viewing was held Tuesday, March 17, at International Chapels Funeral Home. The funeral was Wednesday, March 18, interment followed at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo, Fla.
