COX, ARTHUR B.

Arthur B. Cox, age 74 of 523 Hershberger Rd., N.W., died at the V.A. Medical Center Tuesday, March 17, 1992. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, retiring with 23 years active duty service. He was the widower of Mary Lou Cox. Survived by two brothers, Edgar L. Cox, Roanoke; Oscar C. Cox, Wytheville; two sisters, Mildred C. Kincaid, Irene C. Gillette, both of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's North Chapel 10:00 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. William R. Harding. Burial with military honors conducted by the Roanoke Valley Veterans Council will be in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel after 9:00 a.m. Friday where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
