Jordan, 22, faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and domestic violence in an alleged assault of Ramonnica Fair, 19, police said.
Jordan was arrested Monday at a hearing at which Fair, who claims Jordan fathered her year-old daughter, was seeking child support. Jordan, who denies the charge, was released on $500 bond.
The Geto Boys' album "We Can't Be Stopped" was certified platinum in January.
\ Geraldo Rivera says he's "sorry" he ever wrote "Exposing Myself," the autobiography in which he not only named names but graphically detailed his alleged conquests.
His sorrow, he claims perversely, made him agree to star in NBC's upcoming "Perry Mason: The Case of the Reckless Romeo" as a talk-show host murdered after disclosing matters of the kind he wrote about in real life.
"Playing this part is my most profound apology," he said. "I'm murdered for naming names." The show airs May 5.
Won't playing the role remind everybody all over again of his alleged love-making with Bette Midler, Chris Evert, Judy Collins and Margaret Trudeau?
"Everybody in the world knows what I wrote," he said. "It's like Salman Rushdie's book. A hundred people heard of it for every one who read it."
Rivera goes before the cameras next week in Denver, where "Perry Mason" TV movies are filmed.
\ Johnny Carson, who made "beautiful downtown Burbank" a catch phrase, now has a city park named after him.
The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to rename Buena Vista Park in honor of the "Tonight Show" host.
"Some people feel Johnny Carson denigrated this city, but I think we're talking about a man who, even though he slapped us on occasion, has given us more notoriety than we could have gotten from the best public relations firm," said Councilman Tim Murphy.
