Mary Ellen McManaway, age 93, of Salem passed away Wednesday. She was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Laura Howell McManaway. Surviving are one brother, Robert J. McManaway of Goodview; two sisters, Alma M. Dillon of Bassett; Frances L. McManaway of Roanoke; two nieces, Martha McManaway of Alexandria; Lisa Richardson of Kenbridge, Va.; a great-niece, Kimberly Slaughter of Kenbridge; three sisters-in-law, Hilda McManaway of Vinton; Mae McManaway of Victoria; Virginia McManaway of Goodview. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, March 21, 1992 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. Rev. Gary Davis will officiate. Interment will be in Parrish Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chamblissburg, Va.
