HALIFAX - Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Jones Kidd, age 88, of Halifax, and formerly of Roanoke, died March 19, 1992, at Halifax-South Boston Community Hospital. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Constance J. Morgan of Dillwyn, Va.; Mrs. Lidie J. Garber of Halifax, Va.; Mrs. Sally J. Wingo of Jetersville, Va.; one brother, Mr. M. Tandy Jones, Jr., of Princeton, W.Va.; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday a 9:30 a.m. with services at Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sherwood Forest Memorial Gardens, Salem, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held Friday at the home of Lidie Garber, Halifax, Va., from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements are by Powell Funeral Home, South Boston, Va.
