DENIED CARE AT VA HOSPITAL

ALMA LEE (local union head) was telling the truth about the Salem Veterans Affairs hospital.

Five brothers in my family pulled more than 71 years active duty. I was in two wars and the Berlin Airlift. I went overseas five times. I brought some problems home with me.

Some of the doctors up there found things wrong with me. When I went back, I wouldn't be allowed to see them again. Recently I was told not to come back there again.

I am a member of the Republican National Committee and am going to send a copy of this to headquarters. I hope this and what is already going on will wake some of those people up. MAURICE K. PAINTER BUCHANAN
