FIRST SOCCER BALL WILL RAISE MONEY FOR SPORTS COMPLEX

Get ready to have a soccer ball.

The New River Soccer Club is holding its first Soccer Ball, a dance to generate revenue for a proposed Montgomery County Sports Complex.

The organization hopes to raise $4,000 at the March 27 ball to be held at Custom Catering at 902 Patrick Henry Drive in Blacksburg. The dance starts at 8 p.m.

There will be a dance contest and a prize for the best '50s costume.

The cost is $25 per couple or $15 for singles. Music will be provided by Don and the Deltones.
