POLICE: HITCHHIKER LOCKED MAN IN TRUNK

Charles Holman, 20, of Farmville, was charged with abduction and was being held without bond in the Piedmont Regional Jail, authorities said.

Prince Edward County Deputy Sheriff S.L. Godsey said Donald Ray Ross, the owner of the car, told investigators he saw Holman hitchhiking in Farmville and offered him a ride. Once in the car, Holman allegedly pulled a gun.
