BOCHCO GETS CALL FOR NEW COP SHOW

Tentatively titled "NYPD Blue," the hour-long show about a New York City police precinct, will debut sometime during the fall season, Bochco said. Former "Hill Street" executive producer David Milch and Bochco will be co-executive producers.

Last month, network entertainment president Bob Iger said he had rejected an R-rated version of the series. Bochco had said network television needed to be more daring to attract viewers.
