VIGIL FOR TAYLOR WAS HEARTWARMING

IT WAS SO heartwarming to read about the 24-hour prayer service held by the High Street Baptist Church for their pastor, the Rev. Noel Taylor.

I just want to thank you for reporting this in such a fine way - and on the front page. We read of so much crime and wrongdoing in the papers, it is always wonderful to read of things like this.

I know none of these people mentioned, but I do think it is a wonderful thing this church did. We would benefit if more of us did the same. Jesus wants us to pray for others; he himself is interceding for us all the time! DORIS CARR BLAND
