RUFF, ROBERT W., SR. Robert Woody Ruff, Sr., age 52, of Roanoke, died Friday. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert W., Jr. and Debbie Ruff, Vinton; three daughters, Debbie Chattin and Vickey Ruff, both of Vinton; Patricia Ruff, Roanoke; his parents, Woody C. and Ruth I. Ruff, Vinton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Marie McKinney, Roanoke; Linda and Bud Ellis, Salem; two grandchildren, Melissa Owens, Matthew Chattin; one stepgrandson, Justin Wynn; a special friend, Nancy Overstreet and her daughter, Christy. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Vinton Chapel, 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 1992. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
