Dillard, limited to three shots and six points in the first half, put in 17 points after halftime, including the winning points on two free-throws with 36 seconds to go. Dillard, 6 feet 6, will attend Virginia Tech next year, where he is projected as a small forward.
Curtis Jones added 16 points and Leroy Holloman scored 12 for the Tigers (23-6), who sank 57 percent of their field-goal attempts.
Fluvanna, the 1989 and 1990 Group A champions, got 29 points from Daryl Parrish. The Flucos (20-9) also got 10 from Anthony Bradley.
Eric Garrett hit one of two free throws with three seconds remaining in the third period to put Sussex Central ahead 50-49, and the Tigers never relinquished the lead.
After Dillard's last two free throws put Sussex Central on top by six points, Parrish sank a 3-pointer with 31 seconds left to bring Fluvanna to three points down, 67-64.
After Jones missed his first free throw in a bonus situation for Sussex Central, Parrish was fouled on a 3-point attempt and went to the line with a chance to tie the score with 15 seconds left.
Parrish made his first shot to make it a 67-65 game, but he missed the next two and Dillard grabbed the rebound.
Dillard was fouled, then sank two more free throws to account for final margin.
