CHANNEL 7 SPECIAL

WDBJ-Channel 7 will present its second "Family '92" documentary, "End of Innocence," tonight at 8:30.

The 30-minute special will take a look at teen-age pregnancy and parenting in Southwest and Central Virginia.

Interviews with pregnant teens and teen-age mothers from urban and rural parts of the station's viewing area will be included.

"End of Innocence" will be rebroadcast Sunday at 11 a.m.

Ballet at Hollins

A spring program highlighted by a new setting to Antonio Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" will be presented by Roanoke Ballet Theatre Saturday and Sunday in Hollins College Theatre.

Performances will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The new choreography of "The Four Seasons" was commissioned from the North Carolina husband-and-wife team of Mark and Leslie Fields.

According to artistic director Clay Alan Sales, they eschew the conventional practice of having prima ballerinas portray the seasons. Instead, he said, interplay among the seasons is expressed through "the elemental forces of wind, sun and rain" and a gatekeeper serves as intermediary.

Also on the program are original modern ballets by Sales and Robin Katzke, a member of the company.

Tickets are $7 in advance and $9 at the door for general admission, $5 and $7 for students and senior citizens.

Advance tickets are available at Dance Inc. in Vinton, Peters Creek Pharmacy and the Roanoke Ballet Theatre studio at 1116 B. Kirk Ave. in downtown Roanoke.

Additional information is available at 890-6870 and 345-6099.
