HUNNICUTT, FRED M.

Fred Montana Hunnicutt, age 76 of 5040 Oakleigh Ave., S. W., died Saturday. He was a retired salesman and a navy veteran of World War II, where he received the American Theatre, Asiatic Pacific, and Good Conduct Medals. Surviving are his wife, Nell Moore Hunnicutt; his children, Fred T. Hunnicutt of Madison Heights, Robert L. Hunnicutt and Susan Nell Hunnicutt, both of Richmond; sisters, Ruth H. Grasty and Mildred H. Elliott, both of Roanoke; Virginia H. Cinnamond, Cleveland, Ohio; grandchildren, Brett, and Grant Hunnicutt of Richmond; Tommy, Paige, and Lesly Hunnicutt of Lynchburg; one great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Hunnicutt of Lynchburg; a daughter-in-law, Kitty Perkins Hunnicutt of Richmond. Services will be from Oakey's South Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. C. Lawrence Dodson will officiate. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Military grave rites will be conducted by the 1264 V.F.W. Honor Guard. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel after 12:00 noon Monday where the family will receive callers 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and other times at the residence.
