CHRISTIANSBURG - Fannie Craft Lavender, age 54, died Saturday, March 21, 1992, in a Roanoke hospital. She is survived by her husband, Clarence H. Lavender, Jr.; two sons, Shane Lavender, Mark Lavender, both of Christiansburg; two daughters, Amy L. Harber, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; Beth Lavender, Christiansburg; one sister, Patsey Crowder, Hopewell; four grandchildren, Ashley, Kevin, Nathan and Lindsey Lavender; her stepmother, Virginia Craft, New Castle; a stepsister, Betty Hall, New Castle; and two stepbrothers, Fred Craft and Bob Craft, both of New Castle. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday from the Richardson-Horne Chapel, conducted by Mr. A. Lowell Altizer, with burial in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the East Side Church of Christ, Post Office Box 509, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. Friends may call anytime Monday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, and the family will receive friends there from 7:00 to 9:00 Monday evening.
