FERRUM GOLFERS WIN CONCORD TOURNAMENT

Ferrum College men's golfers won the six-team Concord College Invitational Tournament at the par-72 Pipestem State Course Golf on Sunday.

Ferrum had a total of 324, followed by Bridgewater at 333, Concord with 340, Lincoln-Memorial at 350, King College at 365 and Shepherd College with 372.

The second-round was canceled because of snow.

Clay Morgan from Concord was the medalist with a 75. Hunter Russell from Bridgewater was second with 76 and Ferrum's Chris George was third with 79. - Staff report
