FINCASTLE - Mr. James Harrison Ballard, Jr., age 62, died Sunday, March 22, 1992. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Ballard; two sons and one daughter-in-law, John E. and Carolyn Ballard of Moneta; James H. Ballard, III, of Fincastle; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sadie and Carl Spence of Catawba; Cynthia and Donnie Moran of Daleville; two brothers, Jerry Ballard of Hollins; Carl Ballard of Arcadia; one sister, Gertrude Hall of Hollins; four grandchildren, James R. Spence, Travis L. Spence, Amber Ballard, Casey Ballard; 2 stepgrandchildren, Donald Moran and Eddie Moran. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2:00 p.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. David Wickline officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Dale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
