FERRUM - Mr. Charles Hanford Scott, age 91, died Monday, March 23, 1992. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Garnett J. and Wilsie Woods, Louise and Archie Wagoner, Nancy D. and Wayne Guilliams, all of Ferrum; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Kermit L. and Margaret Scott, Callaway; Douglas and Nora Scott, Carl Scott, Charles D. and Judy Scott, all of Ferrum; twenty-four grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Lynch Chapel with the Rev. Bud Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and other times at the residence of Garnett and Wilsie Woods.
