PLAYGROUND MEETING PLANNED IN BLACKSBURG

There will be a meeting at the town Parks and Recreation Center at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to unveil a schematic plan of the new playground and playground logo at Blacksburg Municipal Park. Construction on the community-designed playground is set for October.

Volunteers are needed for child care and food preparation for the meeting, as well as for fund-raising and construction for the entire project.
