PRAYER IN SCHOOLS IS TOPIC OF LECTURE

Political activist John Whitehead will discuss the controversy surrounding prayer in school Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Radford University's Heth multipurpose room.

Whitehead is the founder of the Charlottesville-based Rutherford Institute, a group that lobbies legislatures on issues concerning the separation of church and state.

Admission to the lecture is free with an RU ID and $2 for the general public.

Because of incorrect information given to the newspaper, the time listed for John Whitehead's talk on school prayer was wrong in Tuesday's Current. The event will be at 8 p.m. Monday in Radford University's Heth multipurpose room.
