BLILEY TO HEAD BUSH CAMPAIGN IN VIRGINIA

Republican Rep. Thomas Bliley of Richmond will serve as chairman of President Bush's re-election campaign in Virginia, the campaign announced Monday.

GOP Sen. John Warner, who is considering a bid for governor next year, and Marvin Bush, the president's son, will serve as honorary chairmen of the state campaign.

"Virginia Republicans stand united behind one Republican candidate - our president," said Bliley, who represents the 3rd District.

Co-chairmen of the Bush campaign in Virginia include GOP Reps. Frank Wolf of Fairfax County, Herbert Bateman of Newport News and George Allen of Albemarle County and Donald Huffman of Roanoke, the state party chairman.
